Fair Labor

Sattler Clothing is made in fair labor work environments and makes every effort to ensure that manufacturers comply with standards of fair labor workplace conditions. Sattler Eco-Clothing uses WRAP certified facilities. WRAP, or Worldwide Responsible Apparel Production, is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to the certification of lawful, humane and ethical manufacturing throughout the world. Sattler Eco-Clothing manufacturers also must sign and agree to abide by a stringent code of conduct and submit to random inspections.

Workplace
Every effort is made to utilize methods and materials that minimize the impact on the environment and the health and safety of our manufacturers. All subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and business partners agree in writing to support our standards and any applicable laws in the country of manufacture. No employee shall be subject to physical, verbal, psychological abuse or harassment. Furthermore, no person shall be subject to any form of discrimination on the basis of gender, race, religion, age, political opinion, or otherwise in matters including salary, hiring, advancement, benefits, or otherwise in the manufacturing of Sattler Clothing.

Labor
No forced labor. No indentured, prison, bonded labor or otherwise. Those involved in the manufacturing are not required to provide “deposits” or identity papers and are free to leave their employment with reasonable notice.

Child Labor
No child labor used in the manufacturing of Sattler Clothing. No individual younger than 15 (or 14 where the law of the country allows) are employed in the manufacturing of Sattler Clothing.

Documentation

All contractors are required to maintain documentation demonstrating compliance with these standards and local laws and agree to submit to inspections with or without prior notice.
